Body Found in Sack Shocks Residents of Batuceper, Identity Still Unknown

Residents of Batuceper, Tangerang City, were shocked by the discovery of a man's body wrapped in a sack on Tuesday (April 22, 2025) morning.


The body was found in a ditch along Jalan Daan Mogot, KM 21. A local resident smelled a foul odor and followed it until they found the sack. When they opened the sack, they were shocked to see a man's lifeless body inside.


According to several residents, the man had probably died several days earlier. Residents also said they saw scars on the man's body, which were likely caused by violence.


The police have not revealed the victim's identity. An investigation is still underway to uncover who the man is and what actually happened to him.


For now, the area around the ditch has been cordoned off by the police, and officers can be seen checking CCTV cameras nearby.

     The Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Softball Field in Senayan, Jakarta, has officially reopened to the public after months of renovation.
