Truck Crashes into Commuter Line at Tanah Tinggi Station, Injuring 3 and Causing Traffic jams

Tangerang - On Friday morning, June 20, 2025, a truck crashed into a commuter line at a railroad crossing near Tanah Tinggi Station, Tangerang City. The incident injured three people, including a motorcyclist who was struck by the truck and thrown off the train, and the train driver.

As  result of the incident, commuter line service was disrupted and passengers were evacuated, while traffic on Jalan Sudirman experienced severe congestion.

The Indonesian Railways Commuter Line (KAI) stated that it would take legal action against the truck driver for alleged negligence. Meanwhile, police are still investigating the exact cause, including allegations that the crossing gate was not fully closed when the truck passed.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of caution and compliance with signs at railroad crossings.

Jakarta's GBK Softball Field Reopens After Major Renovation

     The Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Softball Field in Senayan, Jakarta, has officially reopened to the public after months of renovation. The facility, which is one of the few international-standard softball fields in Indonesia, was inaugurated yesterday by the GBK management along with officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.      The reopening ceremony, held on Sunday morning, was attended by athletes, students, and community sports enthusiasts.
