Street Vendor Injured After Being Hit by Truck Near General Sudirman Statue

        A street vendor was injured in an accident involving a truck on Thursday morning on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, right in front of the General Sudirman Statue near Tanah Tinggi Station.

        The accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), when the vendor was crossing the street after finishing his evening sales at Tanah Tinggi Main Market. At that time, a truck passing through the area hit him, causing him to fall and damaging his food cart.

        According to the victim's neighbors, the vendor suffered a deep cut to his forehead from the impact. His food cart was also reportedly badly damaged, resulting in significant material losses.

        Local residents who witnessed the incident immediately helped the victim and contacted the authorities. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is expected to be conducted by the police.

     The Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Softball Field in Senayan, Jakarta, has officially reopened to the public after months of renovation.
