Deadly Mugging Reported at Buaran Indah Toll Road

    A deadly mugging incident occurred at Buaran Indah Toll Road over two consecutive nights, causing public concern over safety in the area. The most serious incident took place on Thursday night, December 11, 2025, and resulted in the death of one victim.

    According to CCTV footage from around the toll road, four perpetrators were seen chasing a couple who was traveling along the road. The attackers pursued the victims aggressively despite the victims’ attempts to escape.

    During the incident, the victims tried to seek help from a passing truck driver. However, the driver continued driving when the perpetrators approached, reportedly because one of the attackers was carrying a long sharp weapon, posing a serious threat to anyone nearby.

    One of the victims suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The surviving victim experienced trauma and was later assisted by authorities. No official statement has yet been released regarding the identities of the victims.

    Police have confirmed that they are investigating the case. Officers are currently analyzing CCTV recordings and collecting witness statements to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. Authorities have also increased patrols in the area following the incident.

    The public is advised to remain vigilant when traveling through Buaran Indah Toll Road, particularly at night, and to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.
